XENYX X1204USB FEEDBACK PLUS
Naturally if you have that second knob above minimum when using AUX send 1/return 1 for effects you will create an FX feedback loop which probably explains the noise you heard when you had both knobs at 12 o' clock. The compact Behringer X1204USB mixing console takes the 1204FX up a notch, providing all the same great features, plus Behringer's 24-bit, dual engine FX processor, with 16 editable, studio-grade presets including reverb, chorus, flanger, delay, pitch shifter and multi-effects. On the FX boxes themselves, depending on what the settings are, it should be either set to external mix mode or 100% wet and naturally said effect should be on.Īs for the FX/AUX sends in the channel strips, they should be set to taste, noting that the pre button on Aux 1 should not be depressed on any channel as that will put AUX 1 before the channel fader and as such will mean even when muted/the fader is down sound will still come through the effect on AUX 1.Īs for the extra confusing knob on aux return 1, that is designed so that you can have effects in the monitors, the idea being is that you return you effects through fx return 1 an that knob controls how much of that return is passed to AUX send 1.

As for the knob positions on the board as a start the master FX sends should be set to 12 o' clock and the same with the returns, noting that the second knob for aux return 1 should be at minimum. The FX boxes should be set up like this, FX sends 1 and 2 go to each effect, with the returns going into effect returns 1 and 2.
XENYX X1204USB FEEDBACK MANUAL
Looking at a picture of the mixer and the manual it would appear that it should be done like this, I know i'm lacking some basic mixer knowledge but i really want to get this sorted and get recording, any help is greatly appreciated I'm so confused, especially since i've only really ever used audio over USB and mixing desks without as many knobs as this and without using external FX When turning the 2 red knobs in this section, i'm just getting a really weird crackle so i turned them straight back down. Then i'm facing the 3 knobs in the "Stereo AUX Returns" section, 2 red ones both labelled 1 which is confusing as hell and an orange one labelled 2 which is fine. I have the AUX 1 and 2 send on the wannabe effected channel strips about halfway, i then have the AUX send knobs (above the Alt 3-4 fader) set to about halfway. I'm baffled because i've even tried the pedal away from the mixer and they work properly. I am unsure of what i'm doing wrong but clearly something is out of line because i'm not hearing anything from the returns except duplicated audio coming from whatever channels i've got sent to the Aux outs. The problem i'm facing is that i'm trying to connect my Eventide space and Timefactor from the Aux outs and return into the stereo returns on the desk. I have had it a while but only just started using it. Hi all, i'm hoping someone with one of these mixers can help me out please.
